Villa de Pranakorn’s story is one of ambition, ingenuity and prosperity. Defined by the rich history of the Kittisuwan family spanning more than 100 years, the site of our hotel has been passed tenderly down from generation to generation. Hospitality has however always been in their blood. Only a few years on from emigrating to old Siam from China at the turn of the 20th century the ancestors of our current owners built one of Bangkok’s earliest hotels in a six-storey property not far from where we are now.
